Role Introduction

Reports to: DGT IT Governance Resources Manager

Join our Information Technology team in Hong Kong and be part of a dynamic environment that drives innovation and efficiency across the enterprise. This role focuses on planning, performance improvement, and delivering analytical insights to support strategic decision-making within the IT department.

As a Digital and IT Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in managing departmental budgets, optimizing resources, and ensuring governance standards are met. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance productivity, contributing to the overall success of IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare IT performance updates and provide analytical insights to senior managemen
  • Resolve barriers and conflicts (resource, timing, financial, sequencing) across multiple projects and teams
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets and forecasts
  • Drive continuous productivity improvement through automation and process streamlining
  • Collaborate with managers and project teams to facilitate management reporting on cost, resourcing, and analytics
  • Monitor cost performance for IT projects and support subsidiaries’ operations in compliance with governance standards
  • Manage resource consumption and vendor invoicing processes
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of IT contractor resources

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Accounting, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to deliver actionable insights
  • Good business acumen and experience in process automation or workflow streamlining
  • Excellent numerical skills and ability to interpret data for performance improvement
  • Familiarity with agile project governance and cost management preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
